Lewaero Works currently offers an extensive line of custom carbon fiber pods for both the Super Cub and Cub Crafters Carbon Cub Line, including the new UL model.
For the Super Cub we offer a small pod, fuel or cargo only. For this option the max fuel capacity is 37 gallons. We also offer a large pod (Bubba) in a cargo only option and a combo option with approximately 20 gallons of fuel and a four foot cargo bay.
For the Carbon Cub we offer the the small pod, fuel or cargo only. For this option fuel capacity varies from 26 to 37 gallons. Soon we will offer the Bubba Pod in both cargo and combo options.
All models of our pods are of original design and hand tooled here at Lewaero Works, We use all carbon fiber material and are infused to make our pods as light as practical, cargo pods average 14 lbs installed and fuel pods 21 lbs, Our pods have shown to have no aerodynamic drag penalties and have an increased cruise airspeed of up to 5mph.
